Booking & reservation

How do I book a camper?

You can book online in a few minutes — pick your dates, choose a van, and confirm. Bookings are confirmed instantly with online payment, or you can hold a date and pay later by bank transfer.

How far in advance should I book?

Summer (June–August) and the Northern Lights season (December–March) fill up fastest — book 3–6 months ahead if possible. For winter trips we recommend booking at least 2 months out.

Can I change or cancel my booking?

Yes. Free changes are usually possible until a few weeks before pickup, subject to availability. Cancellation terms depend on how close to pickup you cancel — see our 条款与条件 for the full table.

Do you offer one-way rentals between Oslo and Tromsø?

Yes — one-way rentals between our two depots are available. We also publish discounted one-way relocation offers when we need to move a van. See current one-way offers.

Vehicles & equipment

Which camper should I pick?

It depends on group size, season, and how off-road you want to go. Classic 野营车 for couples on a budget; 大房车四驱Saloon for 3 people; 阿特拉斯 4WD 露营车 for premium space; Viking Home for a full motorhome with shower and toilet. See the full fleet.

What is included with my rental?

Every rental includes unlimited mileage in Norway and a fully-equipped kitchenette (stove, fridge, cookware, plates, cutlery). Winter rentals also include spiked tires and a diesel heater. A bedding package and 24/7 roadside support are optional add-ons at checkout.

Is bedding included?

A bedding package (duvets, pillows, linen) is an optional add-on you can book at checkout. You're also welcome to bring your own sleeping bags and pillows.

Are pets allowed?

Yes, well-behaved pets are welcome in most of our vans for a small cleaning surcharge. Mention your pet when booking so we can prepare the right van.

Is there Wi-Fi in the camper?

No fixed Wi-Fi, but Norwegian mobile coverage is excellent in most areas. A travel SIM or roaming plan from your home carrier works well almost everywhere except the most remote Arctic regions.

Driving in Norway

What licence do I need?

A standard category B (car) driving licence is enough for all five of our campers — including the Viking Home motorhome. Minimum age is 21 with at least 2 years of driving experience.

Are tolls included?

Norwegian tolls are paid automatically through our AutoPASS system — you don't stop at toll booths. Tolls are billed to you after the trip at cost; we don't add a surcharge.

Can I take the camper outside Norway?

By default our rentals are for Norway only. Trips to Sweden, Finland, or Denmark may be possible by prior arrangement — please ask before booking.

Can I wild-camp anywhere?

Norway has very camper-friendly rules thanks to the allemannsrett (right to roam) — you can park overnight on uncultivated land at least 150 metres from the nearest house. For motorhomes, official rest stops, campsites, and many fjordside pull-offs are great spots.

What about fuel costs and stations?

Diesel is the standard fuel for our fleet. Norway has good fuel-station coverage in the south; in Arctic Norway stations can be 100+ km apart and not all are open 24/7. Top up whenever you can in the north.

Winter & Arctic trips

Are your campers suitable for winter?

Yes. Every winter rental comes with spiked tires (required by Norwegian law) and a fuel-driven diesel heater. The insulated cabin keeps you warm down to -20 °C. See our Arctic trip guide.

Will I see the Northern Lights?

Northern Norway is one of the best places on the planet for Aurora viewing, but clear skies and solar activity are needed. The season runs September to March; with a camper, you have the flexibility to chase clear skies — which is the single biggest factor.

Which van is best for a winter trip?

We recommend the 大房车四驱阿特拉斯 4WD 露营车 for snowy back-country roads, or the Viking Home motorhome if you want the comfort of a fixed shower and toilet during the cold months.

Insurance & damage

What insurance is included?

All rentals include third-party liability insurance and basic CDW (collision damage waiver) with a deductible. You can reduce or waive the deductible with our optional excess-reduction package at checkout.

What deposit is required?

A security deposit is pre-authorised on your credit card at pickup — the amount depends on the van and the insurance level. See the price list and deposit overview for current amounts.

What if I have a breakdown?

Optional 24/7 roadside support is available as a booking add-on. If you choose it, you have one number to call from anywhere in Norway. Without the add-on, basic manufacturer roadside coverage still applies.

Payment

How do I pay?

We accept all major credit cards through our secure online payment provider (Nets Easy). Bank transfer is available on request for longer rentals.

When is the balance due?

A deposit is taken at the time of booking. The remaining balance is typically due 30 days before pickup — exact terms depend on the offer.

Pickup & return

What are pickup and return hours?

Both depots open Monday–Friday 09:00–17:00. Weekend and out-of-hours pickups are possible by prior arrangement for a small fee.

How long does pickup take?

Plan around 30–45 minutes for a thorough van handover — paperwork, vehicle walkthrough, and a quick demo of the kitchen, heater, and electrics.

What if my flight is delayed?

Call us as soon as you know — we're flexible and will work around it. Free Wi-Fi at both Oslo and Tromsø airports means you can reach us easily.

Still have questions?

We're happy to help. Reach out by phone or email and we'll get back to you within one working day.
